I have always loved photography. I enjoy creativity and watching an idea come together to make art. I am intrigued and awed by the vast amount of styles there are to photography. The never-ending magnitude of talent and individuality displayed through photographs will forever amaze and inspire me. It excites me how one subject can be seen and interpreted in so many ways through each photographer’s lens.

I am completely self-taught and still have so much to learn. I am willing to try anything. I am driven purely by passion and the determination to improve myself. I also enjoy writing, and often see a story evolve as I am taking a photo. The two go together almost immediately for me. I do believe a photo can tell a story on its own; however words to accompany a photo seem to be therapeutic and flow instantly through my mind with the sound of my shutter.

I live to learn, love, and laugh. I aim to pack my life’s journey and memories into as many beautiful pixels as I possibly can. My only child, Isabella Sue, is the love of my life, the sparkle in my eyes, and the beat in my heart. She remains the one thing in my life that reminds me daily I know what I am doing as a mother. She is also my favorite model.

I was born and raised on the East coast and now live in San Diego, California. Thank you to all of my loved ones, family members, and friends who have supported and encouraged me through my growing pains .. both personally and photographically. IOU all!
